Leadership Coaching — Our Approach

We at MRW Consulting Group International, LLC are known for our focus on building strong leadership capability through practical solutions. As accomplished HR professionals who have both consulted and served as internal practitioners, we bring a broad range of experience and perspectives to our leadership development and leadership coaching approach, and we view it as a collaborative process between the coach, the coachee and the coachee’s manager.

Phase 1: Contracting
Identify, define and agree upon specific learning objectives and areas of focus for the coaching engagement
Agree upon the overall coaching process; specify responsibilities of key stakeholders (coachee and coachee’s manager); clarify expectations and measures of success
Create personal coaching plan that outlines key actions for agreed-upon focus areas and describes the desired/expected behavior change


Phase 2: Discovery
Create self-discovery and sherpen self-awareness by reflecting on personality, cognitive style, behavior, work style preferences, interpersonal relations; utilizing assessments such as Myers-Briggs®, Firo-B®, Thomas Kilmann Conflict Mode


Phase 3: Development
One-on-One coaching meetings
Practice new behaviors, debrief results and key learning
Prepare coachee to be able to appropriately solicit feedback through tactful inquiry of key stakeholders, peers and work colleagues
Solicit feedback from coachee’s manager on noticeable behavior change
