Andrea Robinson has over 20+ years of broad-based Human Resource Management and consulting experience with in-depth expertise and positive impacts in for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
Her areas of expertise include Employee Relations, Conflict Resolutions, Orientation and On boarding, Recruitment, Performance Management, Retention Strategies, HR Policies & Procedures, Succession Planning and a successful track record of building and maintaining relationships across all levels of organizations.
Prior to Andrea’s role as a HR Consultant, she was a HR Business Partner/HR Generalist at JDRF (Formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) where she partnered with staff to include senior leaders to communicate various HR policies and procedures, laws, and government regulations. In addition, she objectively coached employees and Management through complex HR issues and concerns. Andrea also played a key role in recruiting talent across various levels of the organization. She was also part of a team who were credited with reducing turnover by 5% accomplished by hiring the right people, and utilizing effective intervention strategies i.e. training Managers in professional development of staff.
Prior to JDRF, Andrea also worked at Avon, Reuters and MTV Networks where she supervised HR staff, handled extensive recruiting, Benefits Administration, re-designed and managed Educational Assistance Program and streamlined the open enrollment process as well as other HR functions.
Andrea received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the City of New York, Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business in New York
